I research spyware, phishing & disinformation as a Senior Researcher at The Citizen Lab.
My focus is attacks targeting people at high risk because of who they are or what they do.
I also work on connectivity in conflicts.

In the past I’ve done work supporting the free and secure flow of information during conflicts. The Voices Projects, which helped bypass internet shutdowns in Egypt and Libya, are an example. I’m a past fellow at Google Ideas / Jigsaw at Alphabet.
Also, I sometimes fly robot cameras on kites & other platforms.
